The two-day off-site is optimal for taking enough time to get all the issues on the table, and to create a strong action plan for improving your team's performance. Sure it can be shortened, and we have several ways to shorten a retreat. The first day of the off-site is focused on building trust and discussing the results of the Inventory. It's an incredible day where many useful discoveries occur. Each of the seven stated of teamwork are discussed in depth, creating a deep dialogue where a new foundation for trust and renewal is forged. The second day is focused on the specific action the team can take to move to high performance. Two days is enough time to reenergize the team and focus it on achieving extraordinary results.
